Never Count Your Augustonians

What I learned today:
Never have a concert after only 4 practices. Especially a morning concert.

So... Pyar ke Aziyat's first gig was pretty bad. The audio levels were all wrong, we were discombobulated, and I couldn't sing for some reason. I mean, we had fun, but I don't think people started listening to us so they could watch us have fun....

So... we sang normal hymns, like Once in Royal David's City and O Come O Come Emmanuel and O Holy Night and stuff, but also a rock version of the Go Fish Guys' "It's Spelled Christmas With a Capital C" and a Metallica tribute called Armageddon (see last post).

But! We WERE asked to do something for the Souper Bowl of Caring.... So somebody liked us. I think it was the priest. And I know Helene listened to the whole thing. And Beth K. ... she was our backup dancer for the Go Fish song (lolz). And Sherri's mum; she listened nicely the whole time, even though she's a senior citizen and doesn't really care for rock music. So... looks like...

We'll have to figure out a new drum situation. We would just leave a keyboard in the nursery/trailer where we practice, but then someone'd steal it or something. We may go STOMP and use trash cans. They're loud. And then I wouldn't be supplying everything and we'd have a trademark. Kind of like... IDK, some horrible indie garage band that's having fun annoying old people. We may get somewhere locally like that, you never know. Play at Sharky's or something. The library's Battle of the Bands. Something....

Hey... Jer just got online....
Rawr!

Anyway! So... I started a virtual family on deviantART. http://dijikuru2525.deviantart.com/journal/29217495 It should be fun to start up. So far, I have a sadistic insane second cousin, a Ritalin-addicted second cousin who is her brother, a bisexual brother who is married to a Pakistani Muslim, a shy little sister, a neurotic uncle, and a gypsy grandmother who in real life is only 9 months or so older than me. And we may have a sane member soon.

He actually asked if it was a virtual family or a mental institution. ^^ Hehe....

Well... I suppose I've said my share for now....

Farewell,
><)))>
